HOW COMMUNITY LINC HOUSING WORKS:
Community LINC Housing creates affordable home ownership opportunities for households in Kansas City through renovation and new construction.
We help people become homeowners through a rent-to-own model (e.g., future owners) or immediate purchase, combined with education, budgeting, credit repair, and case management.
PROCESS:
1. Attend one-time orientation
2. Attend monthly budget and homeownership group class
3. Meet with housing counselor once a month
4. Move in as a “future owner” or purchase and move in as homeowner
