Graduate Assistance Program (GAP) at Community LINC
At Community LINC, we offer continued housing support for families after graduating our program. GAP Bridges the gap between rent-free transitional housing and market-rate housing. This reduces financial stress while maintaining access to our support staff and counselors.
Continued Support for Family Progress
For the first time ever, apartments have been intentionally set aside for program graduates who are ready to take their next step toward long term stability. What was once simply an idea has now become a beautifully transformed space that will soon be filled with hope, progress, and new beginnings.
Beyond supporting families, GAP also strengthens Community LINC as a whole. The program offers valuable insight into how we can continue refining our case management model and enhance future programming. By walking alongside graduates during this next stage, we gain a deeper understanding of what works, where additional support is needed, and how we can continue improving outcomes for the families we serve. In addition, the program creates a sustainable source of recurring revenue that will help fuel our mission for years to come.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Our GAP program extends one on one support from case managers:
Financial Literacy:
Families utilize their budgeting skills. Monthly check-ins keep them on track.
Time Management:
Executing strategies to manage hectic schedules and financial commitments with guidance from a case manager.
Parenting/Household Management:
Case managers and mental wellness staff are available to aid in maintaining a stable and nuturing home environment.
